

"The Wagon" The world had ended. Or at least, the world as it had been known. Skyscrapers stood like skeletons, some of them crumbling into the streets and highways below. In some of the skeletons were droves of smaller skeletons. People. The big war had finally come but not like everyone had expected. It wasn't a nuclear apocalypse like so many had thought. On I Shall Go The air was hot. Hot in the way only deserts and landlocked regions know. True, the heat was dry but it was also fierce and unrelenting. A cruel caravan driver whipping the travelers without passion. Constant, dull wind bringing heat even under cloud cover. And still they pushed on. Sometimes they sang. Songs of their own creation. Songs from their hearts. These modern gypsies, vagabonds, this small family. Not of blood, no, but of spirit. Bonds thicker than blood or water.On I Shall Go
